Buxton & High Peak Golf Club offers membership options for golfers of different ages, experience levels and playing requirements.

Members can enjoy regular access to our historic 18-hole course, club competitions, an active social environment and discounted food and drink through the members’ bar-card scheme. Monthly payment is available through the BRS payment scheme.

New golfers can begin with our six-month Trial Membership, which includes access to the course and club facilities together with a lesson from PGA Professional Carl Cross.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is full membership?

Full membership fees vary according to age. The current annual fee for members aged 40 and over is £1,075, with reduced rates available for younger adults.

Can membership be paid monthly?

Yes. The club encourages members to use the BRS monthly payment scheme. Additional payment terms should be confirmed with the Club Secretary.

Is there a trial membership for new golfers?

Yes. The six-month Trial Membership is intended for people who are new to golf. It includes use of the club facilities, excluding club competitions, and one lesson with the club’s PGA Professional.

Does the club offer junior membership?

Yes. Junior Academy, nine-hole and 18-hole membership options are available. Contact the club for current coaching details, eligibility and membership fees.

Is there a social membership?

Yes. Social membership is available for people who want to enjoy the clubhouse and social side of the club without taking out playing membership.

Are there membership options for people living outside Buxton?

Yes. Country membership is available for golfers who live at least 25 miles from the club and are already members of another golf club designated as their home club.
